Marriott'S Timber Lodge, South Lake Tahoe

After my stay at this hotel, I feel quite mixed. While the location is fantastic, right next to the Heavenly gondola, the service was far from satisfactory, which really impacted my experience. The hotel was bustling, and although the amenities, like the pool and hot tubs, were enjoyable, the lack of communication from the management was disappointing. Overall, it's a nice place for skiing but there are definitely areas that need improvement when it comes to service and management responsiveness.

My experience at the hotel was mixed. The location is super convenient for accessing the gondola and nearby shops, which I appreciated while exploring the area. However, I found the service lacking, particularly at check-in and when addressing issues with valet service. The rooms were quite spacious, offering a nice kitchen and a separate living area, which was ideal for my family. Overall, while the amenities are nice, the staff's responsiveness left much to be desired.

Staying at Timber Ridge was an overall great experience, particularly with its location right by the Heavenly gondola and the vibrant Heavenly Village. The spacious two-bedroom suite we booked was well-equipped and proved perfect for our family. However, we did face some hot water issues in one of the bathrooms and a minor inconvenience regarding the lack of balcony space. Overall, it's an ideal spot for families looking for both comfort and accessibility.

I had a wonderful time at the Marriott Timber Lodge in Lake Tahoe. The location was perfect for enjoying the nearby ski slopes, and our spacious villa was truly comfortable for our family reunion. While the service was generally very nice, a few aspects like housekeeping could use some improvement. Overall, it was a great experience, but I would have loved if the dining options were more accessible within the hotel.
